How we send

All outbound mail from customer mailboxes leaves through a single gateway in Hong Kong, at the address above. Customers authenticate before sending; the gateway accepts nothing else for relay. Every message carries a DKIM signature for the customer's domain.

Sending is rate limited per mailbox: 50 messages per hour during an account's first seven days, 200 per hour after that. Bulk and marketing mail are prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy, which every customer accepts, and new accounts are verified before activation.

How we receive

The gateway accepts mail only for existing recipients: unknown addresses are rejected during the SMTP conversation, so we do not generate bounces for them.

Accepted mail is filtered for spam and scanned for malware. Mail that fails filtering goes to the recipient's Junk folder, and malware is dropped. We do not reject after acceptance, which means our platform does not send bounce messages to forged senders (backscatter).

Reporting a problem

Write to abuse@asiamailservices.com. Include the full headers of the message and the time with its time zone; with that, we identify the account within minutes. Reports are read by a person, and we answer within 24 hours, every day of the week. Confirmed abuse leads to immediate suspension of the account responsible.

Deliverability questions — rejections, deferrals, filtering at your side — go to postmaster@asiamailservices.com.

Blocklists

If our sending address appears on a blocklist, or is filtered at your side, write to the postmaster address. We investigate the cause before requesting any delisting, and we tell you what we found.
